It is so important to change your pillowcase often. And when I say often I mean at LEAST once a week! The natural oils from our hair and face collect on our pillowcases as we sleep and we don’t want that seeping into our silky skin. By changing your pillowcase often, we’re ensuring a clean surface for us to lay our head and face on for a good night’s sleep.
Do Not Touch Your Face
When we touch our face, we are spreading germs, dirt, bacteria, and oils onto our beautiful face with our fingers. Eww! That’s just asking for blemishes and pimples to grow. It’s best to keep your hands away from your face during the day so you can have a nice healthy surface!
It’s crucial that you wash your face daily to cleanse your skin from all the dirt, grim, and product buildup collected from the day. A simple tip is to switch out your wash cloth daily so you have a nice and clean cloth to use to clean your face. When you wash your face with a dirty cloth, you’re just spreading dirt and bacteria onto your skin, and that’s no good! Make sure you change it out daily. Or if you have a microfiber cloth that naturally kills bacteria, then changing it out every few days will work too. The key is to make sure you wash your face with a clean cloth!
